Meet Jake Kimball
Owner & Lead Attorney
A Lawyer Who’s Walked in Your Shoes
Jake Kimball didn’t just choose personal injury law—he lived it. At 19, Jake was hit by a drunk driver while walking along the side of the road. Hospitalized with serious injuries, including long-term spinal damage, he experienced firsthand the pain, confusion, and frustration that injury victims face—especially when the responsible driver is uninsured.
This experience gave Jake a unique understanding of his clients' struggles, inspiring him to dedicate his career to helping accident victims seek fair compensation.
Jake graduated from Brigham Young University in 2002 and earned his Juris Doctor from The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law in 2005. During law school, he served as an associate editor for the Ohio State Law Journal and received a Foreign Language and Area Studies Fellowship. Jake began his legal career in insurance defense, gaining insider knowledge of how insurance companies handle claims. After nearly a decade on the defense side, he transitioned to representing injury victims—recovering millions of dollars for clients.
Jake is admitted to practice in:
-
The State of Colorado
-
The United States District Court for the District of Colorado
-
The Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals
He is an active member of the Colorado Bar Association, El Paso County Bar Association, and the Colorado Trial Lawyers Association.
Outside of the courtroom, Jake is a proud father of six children, ages 4 to 21. He’s an adventurer at heart, having hiked the Inca Trail, kayaked the Norwegian Fjords, explored the Scottish Highlands, and even summited Mt. Kilimanjaro. A fan of new challenges, Jake also recently completed his first marathon. Closer to home, he enjoys spending time with his family, reading, maintaining his lawn, and experimenting with his smoker.
